Abstract This collection represents one of the three main divisions within the material donated by Elizabeth Tilton Seeley, niece of Harriet Lane Cates Hardaway and apparent inheritor of the Hardaway estate. The bulk of the Clemens-Hardaway Manuscript Collection consists of the genealogical research materials of Mary Cornelia Clemens, first cousin once removed of Harriet Hardaway.
